We are currently seeking a

Director, Talent

to work collaboratively to design, implement, and manage programs that support career development, enhance talent experiences, and promote internal mobility within the organization. This will include talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, leadership development, learning, engagement, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development programs that are aligned with Pursuit Aerospace's values and strategic business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure that we attract, develop and retain top talent. This role is located in Manchester, CT and reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

We're looking for a Director of Talent who believes in creating best in class career development, talent planning, performance management, and engagement systems and processes aligned to a growing organization that will allow us to attract, engage, and retain top talent, always pursuing better through continuous improvement.

In this Director of Talent role:

You'll provide great service to internal HR and leadership customers and work collaboratively across the HR Leadership teamYou'll create and deploy a harmonized performance management process and evolve the talent review process inclusive of standard work and timelines, and you'll own execution and metrics across the organization for these processesYou'll deploy and support a succession planning programs for all leadersYou'll curate and deploy a standard leadership development strategy / course portfolio for front-line leaders and senior managersYou'll create and deploy a DEI strategy and 3-year roadmap inclusive of the annual engagement surveyYou'll co-create a technical talent roadmap and subsequent action plans inclusive of evolving and program managing the Pursuit Leadership Development Program (PLDP)You'll stand up learning management system (LMS) standard work, functional catalogs, and basic compliance requirements for all employees and key rolesYou'll partner with the Director of Total Rewards on career pathing and internal mobility initiativesYou'll provide oversight and strategic recommendations for local workforce development initiatives at Pursuit locationsYou'll champion Pursuit's involvement in employer of choice surveysYou'll manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with external partnersYou'll support the integration of acquisitionsYou'll provide coaching, direction, and leadership support to employees to achieve objectivesYou'll partner with site HR teams regarding the delivery of products, programs, and services to continuously improve impact and effectiveness with a service mindsetYou'll develop and deliver communications and training on talent and engagement programs to employees, managers, HR, and other stakeholdersYou'll create standard work/processes and policies and participate in continuous improvement (kaizen) initiatives across the company, demonstrating a flexible working and communication styleYou'll use data to inform recommendations, ensure talent planning is aligned to a performance-based philosophy, drive retention across the Company, monitor operational statistics, report trends, variances and issues, and take appropriate actionYou'll travel as needed to various Pursuit sites (up to ~10%)You'll deliver results, and you'll love it!You won't find an opportunity like the one you'll find with Pursuit Aerospace. Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field12+ years of experience in Talent Management, Workforce Development, Engagement, or other related areaPreferred Additional Skills/Experience:

Deep knowledge of talent and engagement best practices, trends, and regulationsExperience creating and managing talent and performance programsExperience designing and implementing a cross-Company DEI strategyExperience integrating acquisitions into existing talent, performance, and engagement programsUnderstanding of the learning technology space and the available tools to meet our diverse employee populationProven track record of developing and delivering learning and leadership strategies to multiple levels within the organization including strategies for large non-exempt manufacturing employee populationsAbility to facilitate alignment between multiple projects running simultaneously, identifying dependencies, change management requirements, and prioritizing accordinglyStrategic Thinking and Leadership: Capable of creating and achieving a desired future state (vision) through influence on company values, individual and group goals, execution of plans, value reinforcements, and systemsImpact: Commanding attention and respect, showing an air of confidence without creating an air of superiority.
