Applications Architect
KAI Partners is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Applications Architect. This role oversees the design and development of software applications. They collaborate on application design with internal stakeholders and development teams, implement and monitor application development stages, and document application development processes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Design and implement data strategies incorporating different patterns and technologies.Responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems.Design systems considering functional requirements, scalability, and security.Define system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.Research, identify, select, and test technology products required for solution delivery.Establish, implement, and document technology integrations or migration strategies.Act as a subject matter expert in application development and project execution.Collaborate with clients and senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.Compile and implement application development plans for new or existing applications.Lead the application development team and supervise the design, testing, and modification stages.Demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback.Writing scripts and code for applications, as well as installing and updating applications.Mentor junior application developers and provide end-users with technical support.Run diagnostic tests and perform debugging procedures.Perform application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.Document application development processes, procedures, and standards.Integrate trends in application architecture in application development projects.Other related duties, as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in large-scale development and migration projects.Resources with data architecture knowledge and application architecture skills.Possesses search engine, web analytics, and business research tools acumen.Experience in compatibility testing, migration, programming, documentation, implementation, integrations, monitoring, testing, architecture, design, technical specification design, application performance monitoring (APM) software, and programming language.Highly proficient in programming languages, including QL Server, .NET, Angular, and Cloud Technologies.Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.Superb organizational and time management skills.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Expertise in application architecture that translates into optimized business operations.Work/Education Experience:
Bachelor's degree, in computer science, with a specialization in software engineering, application development, or similar.8+ years of relevant experience.
Compensation Range:
$135,000 - $155,000
The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
