Summary:The IT Supervisor is a key role responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's information technology operations. This position involves overseeing day-to-day IT activities, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring alignment with business goals to enhance operational efficiency and support innovation.

Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:

Supervise and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Ensure IT operations are in line with the company’s strategic objectives and provide support and guidance to team members.IT Management:

Oversee daily IT activities, including the management of networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms. Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and secure to support ongoing business operations.Technology Implementation:

Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions that meet business needs. Stay informed about emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for integration into existing systems.Information Security:

Assist in the development and execution of security strategies and policies. Monitor security incidents, perform risk assessments, and implement controls to protect the organization’s data and systems.Vendor Coordination:

Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Oversee the procurement of IT products and services, ensuring that contracts are managed effectively and service levels are met.Budget Management:

Assist in managing the IT department budget, including monitoring expenditures and ensuring resources are used effectively to meet business needs within budget constraints.IT Support:

Ensure high-quality IT support for end-users. Define and monitor service levels, and implement processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT service delivery.Stakeholder Communication:

Work closely with various departments to understand their technology needs and priorities. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure IT solutions align with business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, with a strong track record of managing IT operations and implementing technology solutions.Solid technical expertise in IT infrastructure, security, networking, and enterprise systems.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or similar are advantageous.Willingness to travel within TX, VA, and OH as needed.Flexible with a home base work location in TX or VA.Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
