The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in healthcare finance transactions, including asset-based lending (ABL), real estate, and cash flow financing. This role requires strong drafting skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude. Candidates should have a robust academic background and be an active member of the state Bar.Duties:Represent lenders and/or borrowers in healthcare finance transactions, including ABL, real estate, and cash flow financing.Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to healthcare finance.Conduct legal due diligence and prepare reports on healthcare finance transactions.Manage transaction processes from inception to closing, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Advise clients on legal risks and strategies associated with healthcare finance transactions.Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful transaction outcomes.Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.Provide guidance and support to junior associates and other team members involved in healthcare finance matters.Stay current with developments in healthcare finance law and industry trends.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active member of the state Bar in which employed.3-6 years of legal experience in healthcare finance transactions.2+ years of experience documenting and closing healthcare finance transactions at an AmLaw 200 law firm.Strong academic background with excellent drafting skills.Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in ABL, real estate, and/or cash flow transactions.Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex transactions.Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex finance documents.Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and project management skills.In-depth knowledge of healthcare finance law and regulations.Ability to provide practical, client-focused legal advice.
