Basic Job Functions:

Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX• brand for the construction market, TRUFAST• for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFASTWalls• for exterior building envelopes and facades. The Materials Analyst will prepare and process purchase orders; monitor and maintain purchase order accuracy and delivery dates; and review production requirements to ensure timely arrival of product. The individual will actively work to resolve issues as they arise and communicates with others as needed.

Support daily operations planning to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition.Fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling of business operations.Utilize forecasts, historical trends, production schedules and inventory data to maintain the required flow of materials.Coordinate across multiple departments, and vendors, to manage workflows associated with the flow of materials.Monitor operations, troubleshoot operational roadblocks, and expedite material availability.Track and analyze inventory levels and develop metrics and requirements to facilitate material management processes.Manages inventory and compares order points and safety stock levels to support production requirements while minimizing potential obsolescence.Monitor the status of open purchase orders based on estimated receipt date and communicate with supplier, as necessary.Coordinate the timely arrival of material/services; inform the internal team when receipts will be late; coordinate with the supplier the course of resolution.Review historical and forecasted demands to adjust purchase/planned quantities to carry appropriate inventory levels.Work closely with Scheduling & Inventory Control to monitor and adjust requirements through the operation or purchased goods.Communicate clearly and effectively with sales organization availability and timing of products.Monitor status of and receive FG inventory processed via drop ship orders.Process purchase requisitions in SAP after departmental approval.Work closely with vendors to develop systems to reduce overall inventory while maintaining a high level of on time delivery.Position Requirements

Experience & Educations:

Bachelor's degree and 2 - 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, planning or another related role.

Physical Requirements:
