ACCOUNT RELATIONS MANAGER

The Account Relations Manager is responsible to build and maintain relationships with health plan clients and revenue cycle operations for MHS. This position will play a key role in organizing and conducting Payor Escalation meetings with health plans that will support and ensure maximum collection of account receivables with over twenty health plans representing approximately $800M+ in receivables.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred.Years of experience must be in the areas of managed care, government programs and account relations.Must have a broad knowledge of program management principles;Must have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop internal and external teams;Proven analytical skill in assessing issues and escalating appropriately;Must have strong critical thinking skillsIn-depth knowledge and understanding of current healthcare industry issues and trendsKnowledge of federal and state Medicare, Medicaid and relevant guidelines, regulations and standards;Effective communication (verbal and written) and strong relationship building skills.
