General Scope

Director/Manager level position overseeing areas outlined below in coordination with the Pastor and Standing Committees

May delegate functional tasks as appropriate to support staff, but retains responsibility for quality and completion of responsibilities

Reports to the Pastor

Interface with the Pastor, Called Staff, and Ministry Directors in supporting their ministries.

Focus on three significant areas of The Church's operations:i. Administrativeii. Family Lifeiii. Digital Ministry/Outreach

Administrative Responsibilities

Finance/HR/PRi. Work with current financial secretary to learn role dutiesii. Serve as primary financial administratoriii. Be proficient in daily financial operation of the church in coordination with the Church Treasurer(s) and Finance Committeeiv. Manage ongoing letting and renewal of contracts and competitive bids

Oversee daily activity of office

Works with Pastor to coordinate administrative tasks of FBC

Plan, in coordination with Ministerial Staff, for logistical support (vans, rooms, equipment) of ministry activities.

Accept input from Committees on needs and resources.i. Assist in accumulating proposals, quotes, and bids for committee actionii. Inform committees of ideas and recommendations that the staff or other committees may be considering (as it applies to each committee)iii. Communicate to Committees and Staff prioritization and plans of projects

Maintain working knowledge of facility maintenance and operations

Support facility administration in coordination of sub-contracted work activities

Family Life

Facilitate scheduling of and guest access to FLC facility

In coordination with Ministry leaders support overall Family Life Ministries of FBC

Ensure that Facilities are cleaned and prepared for scheduled events

Digital Outreach

In coordination with the Pastor, Called Staff, and Ministry leadersi. Oversee push of current content in a timely fashionii. Weekly standup meeting with appropriate staff to coordinate content generation

Content Streamingi. Understand the online streaming capability of the churchii. Identify and cultivate volunteer servantsiii. Ensure continuity of knowledge to operate our technology among volunteer and contract staff

Review the church's digital content for adherence to our strategy, standards, and beliefs

Regularly encourage staff and members to add content to maintain a current stream of information on all platforms

Manage social media responses and replies
