We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer available to work with a client in the Pacific Time Zone. Those with strong analytical and problem solving skills and the proven ability to implement reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines are ideal candidates.Great opportunity for a talented DevOps Engineer with a proven track record who enjoys using technology to automate solutions and optimize outcomes, implementing infrastructure and deployment solutions in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Remote candidates able to consistently work during Pacific Time Zone work hours and visit periodically should apply.The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the following characteristics and experience:Strong analytical and problem solving skills to be able to resolve issuesAnalyze technology options/feasibility; define the build, delivery, and deployment pipeline for applicationsProvide leadership in implementing secure, robust and high availability DevOps pipelinesAutomate build & deployment processesWork closely with engineers and project managers throughout the development lifecycle in successfully delivering best in class systemsA desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do things manuallySelf-motivated, pro-active and solution-oriented individualTakes initiative, effectively communicates and follows up with colleagues and usersRequirements
Primary SkillsExcellent communication (English). Able to work with clients and colleagues by phone and email in situations where clear communication is critical; strong English verbal and written skills are required.Team player, not afraid to ask for help and brainstormAzure expertise, specifically deploying platform servicesManaging and deploying Kubernetes clustersTerraform (good experience in utilizing this platform)Need to be experienced in running a Kubernetes cluster with persistent storage (this is important and not something everyone running k8s clusters has experience with)MySQL DB ManagementPowershellGitNetworking experience including DNSNice-to-have Additional SkillsBackground in Linux sys adminAbility to automate simple tasks with a programming language (i.e. bash) or through an automation language such as Ansible.PHP familiarity would be good, since WordPress is written entirely in PHPAWS, Google CloudNodeJSKnowledge of WordPress is a plus but not completely requiredCompensation: $100,000-$140,000 depending on experience.Apply Now#J-18808-Ljbffr
