Incident Management Specialist

The Incident Management Specialist position entails thorough and accurate completion of written incidents investigation reports in a timely manner, as well as sound recommendations based on investigatory findings to reduce or prevent recurrence of incidents.Conduct incident investigations for all programsCoordinate interviewsMaintain understanding of current regulations related to incident management and quality improvementComplete written reports with reasonable and sound recommendationsMake oral presentations using visual aids as neededQuarterly reviews of performance quality improvement Coordinate external auditsPerform compliance & risk management assessmentsAssist in the coordination of activities to help the agency attain/maintain accreditationManage surveys in relation to incident management and write feedback reportsDaily monitoring of computerized incident management systemsProvide customized training to program staff on incident management and quality improvement.Strong written, verbal and organization skillsKnowledge of New York State Justice Center, OPWDD, OMH, OCFS, ACS and all other applicable regulatory bodiesExcellent communication skills Ability to facilitate group meetings

Minimum Salary: 56,000 Maximum Salary: 60,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
