Job Overview:
The Principal IT Analyst (Cybersecurity) is for a cybersecurity technical expert with experience in Cloud Security Administration. This individual will be responsible for the design, security access and implementation of cybersecurity measures and controls on Metropolitan cloud tenants such as, but not limited to Azure and M365 Security and Management, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This position will also be responsible to manage Active Directory Group Policy.
This position is a resident authority for the development, implementation, and support efforts. In addition, this role identifies products and develops strategies for remediation and resolution of cloud cybersecurity issues and events developing and updating documents related to the cybersecurity posture of cloud environmentsHybrid:
Metropolitans current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDSMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of increasingly responsible experience, of which two years must have been at the Senior Programmer Analyst or Senior Systems Analyst level.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTSLicense(s):
Valid California Class C Drivers License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS1.
