Siegel Family Endowment (SFE) is a foundation focused on understanding and shaping the impact of technology on society. SFE supports organizations whose work contributes to giving everyone the opportunity to learn and contribute to a rapidly changing society. We were founded in 2011 by David M. Siegel, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of technology-driven algorithmic investment manager Two Sigma. We primarily focus on three interest areas: Learning, Workforce, and Infrastructure. Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Grantmaking, the Grants Coordinator will work closely with the grantmaking team to provide administrative and process support to ensure the smooth operation of the SFE grantmaking team. A successful candidate will be detail and action oriented.

As part of a small organization the grants coordinator will partner with members across teams and work with all levels of the organization. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of nonprofit organizations.

The primary responsibility of the Grants Coordinator is to provide comprehensive support for all aspects of grantee relationships, grants data management, and grant execution within the organization.

Grant Administration and Execution: Prepare monthly grant execution documents, including grant letters and wire requests. Collaborate with the Grants team to ensure accurate and real-time database management for grant tracking using Giving Data and Google Sheets. Prepare and update data dashboards for the Vice President and Head of Grantmaking. Maintain and update the GMS system for the grants team, ensuring all entries are current and conducting periodic data reviews. Provide grants managers with necessary documentation and updates regarding the status of grant executions. Prepare documents for grants team-related meetings and generate periodic summary reports as requested. Grantee Engagement Support:

Communicate directly with grantees to gather necessary information. Collaborate with the Knowledge and Impact team to prepare Monitoring, Evaluation, and Assessment (MEA) plans and grantee engagement reports for each grantee. Schedule grantee engagement meetings such as new grant/grantee kick-off meetings and check-in meetings. Coordinate opportunities for grantees and partners to engage with the foundation, including virtual office hours and community spaces. Manage inquiries related to grants from various stakeholders, handling declinations and other correspondence as needed. Monitor the general grants email address, working with team members to distribute and respond to incoming inquiries promptly. Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading grant-related materials. Additional Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring SFE's grants management workflow to ensure timely follow-up where necessary. Track reporting due dates for grants team members and assist in preparing and distributing board meeting materials before each grants committee meeting. Coordinate and prepare materials for grantmaking team meetings and events, including taking meeting notes and producing concise summaries. Support the planning and execution of quarterly and end-of-year grantmaking reflection meetings. Assist with other projects and tasks as directed by the Head of Grantmaking Assist in conducting grantee sourcing meetings Qualifications

Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience working in an administrative capacity; Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills; Proven organizational skills and planning/time management skills; ability to meet deadlines Knowledge of G Suite and Giving Data/other grants management platforms is a plus Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work independently and on a team Interest in philanthropy and SFE's mission are a plus

Salary & Compensation:
