Job Summary:
Identify and source suppliers for materials, manage supply costs, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier costs are competitive.
Key Responsibilities:
Source suppliers for new manufacturing parts. Approve supplier costs for base pricing and engineering changes. Negotiate Annual Price Review (APR) with top suppliers. Manage supplier risk and program readiness. Achieve cost planning targets and approve pre-production pricing. Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and management capabilities. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience:
2-4 / 4 years of sourcing and end to end purchasing experience Skills:
Knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes. Understanding of purchasing, sourcing, manufacturing, and materials management. Ability to read blueprints and drawings REQUIRED Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. ERP system experience (e.g., Oracle) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual skills helpful.
Travel:
Up to 25% in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
