Credit analysis of issuers across a variety of industries; help to formulate investment recommendations under the supervision of the covering analystKeep abreast of market developments in the coverage area - regulatory, political, and business environment and financial trendsBuild and update financial models, charts, and other supporting materialsDevelop and write research reports on company events, news, earnings, and other relevant topicsGather and communicate Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") risks and opportunitiesCollaborate and engage with Research Associates, Analysts and Portfolio Managers across the investment platformAssume additional projects and responsibilities as requiredWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

One to three years' relevant experience in fixed income, equities, banking or a consultancyBachelor's degree and a strong interest in developing a career in fixed income researchAnalytical mindset: ability to gather, synthesize and concisely compile informationDemonstrated passion for learning, with a focus on finance and/or international economics and affairsSkilled at both written and verbal communicationsOrganized and attentive to detailAbility to work on complex projects in a self-directed mannerComputer/modeling skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint#LI-HYBRIDAt MFS, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
