And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.We are seeking a commercial lawyer to provide general legal services at an exciting global company with U.S. offices located in New Jersey, Maryland, Texas, New Hampshire, Florida, and Oregon.Job Overview:Commercial lawyer with 7-10 years’ experience in contract drafting and commercial transactions to provide legal review, advice, and support on a broad range of legal matters including strategic transactions, commercial contracting, quality and operations, claims resolution and general corporate matters, with a particular focus on strategic sourcing and procurement matters as well as capital expenditure and construction projects. Strong drafting, communication and negotiating skills required.Key AccountabilitiesResponsible for assuring the availability, continuity and quality of competent, timely and cost-efficient legal services.Provide comprehensive legal counsel to support contractual and commercial projects for Lonza’s business operations and initiatives.Work closely with all business functions and senior management.Identify areas of company risk and make proposals for and lead implementation of mitigation strategies.Perform other duties as assigned.Education Level:
