ResponsibilitiesWe are hiring! Our FDA Program is looking to add an
IT Lab Technician . This qualified individual will join a high performing team.
What You'll Do:
Operational support to enterprise level solutions deployed in an IT Lab environment using virtual server hosting, backup solutions and service level storage solutions.
Provision VMWare virtual servers (RHEL/Windows).
Deploy patches to Enterprise IT Lab hardware, software and hosting infrastructure.
Maintain server/blade hardware including failed component replacement.
Deploy software and application upgrades, patches and fixes to Enterprise IT Lab environment including hardware, software, OS, BIOS flashes, hot fixes, lab software, anti-virus and firewall components.
Will be onsite with our client in Silver Spring, MD as directed. Must be local to location.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
BS/BA and 0 years of experience; 4 years of experience without a degree.
Experience in a desktop or lab environment.
Experience installing, configuring, administering, and patching physical and virtual servers and network infrastructure components.
Experience installing, configuring, administering, and patching VMWare and VCenter infrastructure.
Experience with administering Linux RHEL and Windows based servers and Dell Blades/Chassis.
Must be a US citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Service Now ticketing system.
A+/Network+ or VMWare certifications.

Target Salary Range$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
