Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)- Full Time (7 days on, 7 days off)MindCare Solutions
is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will excel in both acute and chronic psychiatric care, delivering high quality mental health services to patients in various settings. This role involves rounding in one hospital, conducting Emergency Department (ED) and Inpatient (IP) consults, and collaborating with members of the collaborative care team.Compensation:
$140,000-$160,000 Salary Per year, Plus Bonus OpportunitiesSchedule:
7 days on, 7 days off; 7am-7pm ESTWhy Choose Us?MindCare Solutions stands out by empowering Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to practice to the fullest extent of their scope.We maintain the highest standard of care by integrating evidence-based practices and the latest advancements.Our commitment to professional growth including fellowship and residency programs, supported by robust training and mentorship.Our prioritization of employee support through multi-tiered clinical assistance, flexible scheduling, and competitive salaries.Our culture fosters a genuine commitment to patient well-being, reflecting our organizational DNA of Service Excellence in every aspect of mental health care services.Duties/Responsibilities:Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients.Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure top tier Psychiatric care for residents.Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary.Conduct daily rounds in one designated hospital, ensuring continuity of care.Respond promptly to consult requests from the Emergency Department and Inpatient units.Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness.Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions.Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.Promote mental health awareness and wellness among residents.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance mental health care services within the facility.Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.Participate in one weekend shift per month and additional on-call shifts as needed.Qualifications:Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health.Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of practice.Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a PMHNP, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) (We will help obtain).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Ability to travel within territory (75 mile radius of home residence).Active and unrestricted driver’s license.MindCare Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds.Embrace this pivotal moment – become a part of the dynamic force that propels our shared vision forward at Psych360, now a cornerstone of Mindcare Solutions.
