Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development, implementation, management, and performance of sourcing strategies within a given Category, to meet business goals and objectives.

Manages the assessment, selection and development of strategic suppliers to meet commodity cost and performance goals.

Managing supplier relationships, performing root cause analysis and resolutions, developing and monitoring supplier improvement plans

Establishes a strong network and fosters collaboration with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders and team members.

Research and benchmarks current commodity market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges.

Responsible for the procurement of contracts including the management of cost, schedule and performance parameters. Developing contract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions.

Develops bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyses and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and manages resulting subcontracts.

Maintains vendor performance database and report metrics to Supply Chain management.

Qualifications:

Lead the delivery of savings year pipeline and guarantee individual projects as defined as part of the Annual Category plan with a Business Partnering and Category Management mindset.

Focus on project delivery with activities including requirements gathering, market analysis, qualifying and selecting suppliers with the relevant Business Partners and stakeholders, as well as non-sourcing projects such as demand management and process improvement.

Manage Key account supplier relationships and guarantee strategy alignment between global and local operating model.

Lead the development of annual procurement business plans and tactical plans in line with agreed sourcing strategy, ensuring full alignment with divisional and group targets, and set stretch targets for the team, benchmarking versus best-in-class external organizations, and measure achievement of objectives against KPIs.

Identification of sourcing strategies (preferred suppliers, outsourcing) and identify, engage and manage the relationships with key internal clients and external suppliers, and exert significant influence to drive procurement projects.

Direct the negotiation of agreements and lead the establishment of contracts to decrease total cost with specified quality and service levels and ensure supply security and ensure that savings are tracked according to group guidelines.

Implementation and utilization of procurement systems and tools in countries, according to the strategy.

Demonstrate thought leadership related to the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of sourcing best practices, systems and processes and policies alignment.

Direct the preparation and finalization of Procurement investments plans and budgets in alignment with the global team and translates global divisional category strategy it into country strategy and local implementation.

Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience; Master's degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience.
