Position Summary:

The Director of Creative Marketing and Communications will be responsible for leading the development and execution of creative marketing strategies to effectively promote our agency's services while also enhancing our brand presence in the industry. Our mission is to create and offer unrivaled marketing content more quickly, while having a clear understanding of the audience at reach. This new position encompasses a broad scope of responsibilities that include creative direction, media and brand management, budget management, internal and external communications, social media strategy, website management, and content creation. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas and relish in a role that celebrates strategic creativity and communication.

The position is required to work from one of our LEO offices in Memphis, Nashville, or Chattanooga, TN.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Creative Marketing:
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the LEO Events brand, our capabilities, and client needs to support business development and client target lists.
• Spearhead the conceptualization, development, and execution of creative marketing campaigns that differentiate our agency and resonate with multiple audiences.
• Drive all social media initiatives for the organization. (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Manage media publications.
• Utilize data insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns that optimize strategic, creative, and analytical processes through the company's website, social media, and other forms of digital marketing and advertising for maximum impact and ROI.

o Collaborate with the creative team on SEO/SEM for company websites

o Analyze keywords and traffic data to make informed, data-driven decisions and revenue attribution.

o Analyze past marketing strategies, propose process improvements, and execute real-time optimization of digital marketing campaigns to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
• Effectively manage internal and external resources in preparation and delivery of marketing forecasts and budgets.

o Ensure resources are allocated efficiently and projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
• Oversee the photography/video media needs for the department.
• Execute philanthropic marketing campaigns for Jay Uiberall Foundation and LEO Gives initiatives.
• Manage the LEO Studio Brand.

Communications:
• Manage public relations and communication efforts to enhance the company's reputation and brand visibility.
• Cross-collaborate with the strategy team to develop and write engaging content across multiple platforms, including digital, social media, print, industry award nominations and submissions, industry publications, and more.

Leadership:
• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team to support the company's business development goals while interfacing and collaborating with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Project Manager to ensure that campaigns, deliverables, and other action items are on track for timely completion.
• Foster impactful internal and external relationships across the entire organization.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, digital technologies, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience within B2B agency or digital marketing, customer experience, strategy, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in digital, brand, and email marketing, as well as budgeting, specifically from a services background.
• Proven management experience with leading teams.
• Strong experience with SEO and Google Analytics, with a proven track record of successful SEO strategies.
• Expertise in leveraging client insights to drive digital marketing and brand strategies.
• Photography experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong writing and communications skills, including impressive presentation skills.
• Experience in creative campaign development
• Demonstrated creative & critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in business analytics, relationship management, strategy development, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Technically savvy and advanced.
• Strong computer skills, including Mac, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Asana, HubSpot, Dropbox, and WordPress.
• Enthusiastic and supportive team member willing to assist colleagues as needed.
• Strong drive towards achieving the company's goals.
• Willingness to travel at least 6-10% and work occasional nights and weekends.

Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands:

Employee required to spend a portion of time in a seated position looking at a computer screen. Employee required to do some standing and walking. Employee will be in a well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
