We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager with substantial expertise in the construction industry, particularly in managing multifamily projects valued at $20M and above. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in managing complex projects from planning through to completion.

Initially established as a masonry contracting company, they have evolved into one of the leading general contractors in the mid-Atlantic region. With a committed team of over 350 employees, the company generates an impressive revenue exceeding $400M. They specialize in multifamily, mixed-use, and corporate interior projects, typically valued between $10M and $50M.

Description

  • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they meet client objectives and adhere to company standards.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, promptly resolving any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate and communicate project activities with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting continuous improvement.

Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry with a general contractor.
  • Multifamily experience is REQUIRED.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Assertive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
