Our Aircraft Cleaner's primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all aircraft under our care. You will meticulously attend to interior and exterior surfaces, including cabins, lavatories, and windows, using approved cleaning agents and equipment. You will also adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness to uphold the airline's reputation for excellence in passenger experience. As our Aircraft Cleaner will play a vital role in enhancing the overall appearance and hygiene of the aircraft, contributing to a safe and comfortable travel environment for passengers and crew alike.
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT CLEANER
Clean, wash, and sanitize aircraft cabins including seats, seat pockets, tray tables, and overhead compartmentsEnsure galleys are stocked and organized in accordance with airline standardsRemove and dispose of trash and debris from the cabin and galleyVacuum floors and clean carpets using designated equipmentWipe down and disinfect aircraft lavatoriesReplace headrest covers, blankets, and other consumables as neededInspect for any damage or issues within the cabin and report findings to supervisorsClean cockpit area without interfering with aircraft controlsReplenish lavatory supplies and sanitize surfacesFollow safety procedures to ensure compliance with health and aviation regulationsYou have very strong customer service skillsYou have a great attention to detailYou enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasksStrong customer service skillsLike to build long term relationships with your customersPhysical activity may include:
Stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 70 pounds or moreBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environmentClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
Qualifications
Minimum age of 18 years oldAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documentsReliable TransportationHigh School Diploma or equivalentKnowledge of cleaning procticesComfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tabletsAbility to pass a drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
