ANESTHESIA TECHNICIAN CERTIFIED (PT VARIED)
Henderson Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of acute care and specialty hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in Henderson, NV, the acute care hospital offers emergency care, surgical services, including an outpatient surgery center, cardiovascular care, women’s health and maternity services, including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, outpatient wound care and two freestanding emergency departments – the ER at Green Valley Ranch and the ER at Cadence.The Anesthesia Technician functions under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist, CRNA or Registered Nurse and performs delegated functions. Responsibilities include:Providing safe, effective cleaning of all equipment in compliance with safety and infection control standards.Ordering and preparing supplies and equipment as needed by the Anesthesiologist for surgical procedures.Observing Universal Precautions and meeting the Standards of Care.Patient age may be from neonate to geriatric.Qualifications

PART TIME VARIEDEducation:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience:
Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment used in performing job responsibilities.License/Certification:
Certification as Anesthesia Technician by the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologist. BLS required.Other:
