NAVFAC Information Technology Center (NITC) is seeking an innovative and results-driven Data Scientist with a strong background in data science, Python, SQL, and PySpark programming. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to drive our organization towards industry standards. This position is located in downtown San Diego, CA.Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance business operations.Sustain Data Pipelines: Use data science techniques to monitor and enhance data quality, integrity, and security throughout the entire data lifecycle.Machine Learning and AI Implementation: Develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models and artificial intelligence systems using industry standards.Continuous Learning and Improvement: Continuously research and integrate cutting-edge data science methodologies, algorithms, and technologies.
