Description:The Amneal Logistics (AL) team innovates to get products to our customers quickly and efficiently. We oversee systems that manage order fulfillment, transportation, warehouse operations, and inventory placement across our distribution centers.Our mission is to make Amneal the leader in affordable medicines, as we seek a Manhattan WMS expert to lead the way. We are rapidly evolving, looking for WMS and operational experts who are passionate about operational excellence and efficiency.Candidate will be the subject matter expert, working to translate business processes into WMS execution. Prior experience working with Manhattan WMS is a must for this role.This position is located on-site at one of our facilities and works closely with the operations team.Responsibilities:1. Coordinate the implementation, configuration, procedures/practices, documentation, and user training during the installation of the Manhattan WMS/TMS. Post Manhattan installation, this person will maintain the system settings, coordinate updates, train new users, and generate reports and analytical insights.2. Support warehouse, inventory, and transportation departments with daily functions and build systems against future changes and efficiencies.3. Work on operational processes within the distribution center and help the operational staff navigate the WMS to ensure an accurate and efficient process.4. Drive innovative solutions through configuration, testing, and support where changes are required.5. Operate with a high level of autonomy, reflecting mature judgment and good instincts with a customer-first mentality.6. Collaborate with peer teams and build relationships with business stakeholders to further our product and technical roadmaps.7. Work closely with the VP Logistics, Senior Warehouse Manager, Senior Manager, Transportation & Logistics, and WMS vendor team to make decisions for the implementation and post-implementation operations of the system.8. Educate our Distribution Operators to best utilize our Warehouse Applications.9. Be the first line of support and escalate issues/changes as needed, owning the relationship with Warehouse Operations and Sales Operations leaders while maintaining the team to oversee daily operational tasks to avoid FTS (Failure to Supply) and ensure the integrity of product distribution as it relates to WMS/TMS. Continue to improve upon daily operational processes to enhance efficiencies and labor management.Essential Functions:System expert that coordinates the implementation, configuration, procedures/practices, documentation, and user training during the installation of the Manhattan WMS/TMS. Post Manhattan installation, this person will maintain the system settings, coordinate updates, train new users, generate reports, and give general guidance pertaining to the system to the distribution of finished goods to Inventory Control and DC Operations.Support warehouse, inventory, and transportation departments with daily functions and build systems against future changes and efficiencies.Own the relationship with Warehouse Operations and Sales Operations leaders while maintaining the team to oversee daily operational tasks to avoid FTS (Failure to Supply) and ensure the integrity of product distribution as it relates to WMS/TMS. Continue to improve upon daily operational processes to enhance efficiencies and labor management.Perform other functions as required or assigned.Comply with all company policies and standards.Comply with cGMP and FDA DSCSA guidelines.Education:Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Science, Math, Computer Science, or a related field - RequiredMasters degree (MS/MA) in a Related Field - PreferredExperience:5 years or more in hands-on WMS configuration experience supporting similar operations running Manhattan WM Active, WMOS, or WM iSeries (PKMS)3 years or more in previous experience working with systems related to warehouse, transportation and labor management, bar code scanning, and DSCSA serialization, TMS, WMS, and LMS systems2 years or more in knowledge of other systems such as RFSmart, RfExcel, JD Edwards (ERP), Print suite softwareSkills:Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to explain complex concepts to others at varying levels of expertise throughout the organization - AdvancedPrioritization and decision-making skills to manage multiple simultaneous efforts and direct resources that may not be direct reports and require collaborative influence skills - AdvancedGood knowledge of warehouse management, labor management, transportation management, parcel management, and slotting - AdvancedExperience with other WMS platforms is also beneficial - IntermediateOperational experience in a Distribution center utilizing Manhattan WM Active or Manhattan WM iSeries (PKMS) - AdvancedProven track record and ability to successfully complete WMS implementation projects from the infancy stages to delivery - AdvancedExperience with configuring and supporting material handling equipment of various types and vendors - IntermediateExperience working on multiple end-to-end implementations of WMS and other warehouse applications - AdvancedDemonstrate leadership regarding operational excellence - AdvancedPreferably must have experience in cGMP and FDA DSCSA Guidelines - IntermediateMust have the ability to motivate people to achieve personal development and organizational goals - AdvancedDisplays a high degree of business and technical knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry.Equal Opportunity Employer:
