Analysts and Engineers supporting AUKUS will continue SPA’s decades of support to the undersea force and assist in developing a trilateral submarine force for the future. This is a high-profile, major international program of significant importance to the future of the US Navy and its partners in an era of renewed strategic competition.ResponsibilitiesThe Program Analyst will provide support to the NAVSEA AUKUS program, focusing on program support to undersea platform acquisition. Responsibilities will include strategic planning and coordination of program wide activities; supporting development of integrated plans, supporting fleet integration with AUKUS program, and coordinating integrated schedule and risk analysis.This position is located in Alexandria, VA with some opportunity to travel to partner and industry stakeholder locations.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree7+ years professional experience5+ years experience with DoDService onboard a US submarine as a junior officerProficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint, to communicate to decision makersCurrent DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employmentAdditional Qualifications Desired, but not required:Experience with Team Submarine and NAVSEAExperience/knowledge of Navy acquisition program office organizations and processesExperience working with international partners
