The Biopatent Counseling Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to biotech companies and investors regarding patent portfolio development, life cycle management, and intellectual property matters.Duties:
Provide legal advice and support to clients in the biotech industry on patent counseling and prosecution matters.Assist in the development and management of international patent portfolios.Conduct non-infringement and invalidity analysis.Represent clients in post-grant proceedings.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop comprehensive patent strategies.Requirements:
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in patent counseling and prosecution.Hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.Experience representing biotech companies and investors.Prior pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.Education & Certifications:
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline.Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.Skills:
Strong understanding of patent law and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
