The

Insurance Risk Manager

will be responsible for overseeing the company's insurance programs, identifying and mitigating insurance-related risks, and ensuring adequate coverage for all aspects of the business. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of insurance policies, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage relationships with insurers and brokers.

What You'll DoServe as the primary global point of contact for Standex International's corporate insurance needs, including coordinating with operating subsidiaries located within and outside the U.S.Manage the Company's relationship with its global insurance broker(s).Maintain and administer the Company's insurance coverages globally and ensure the company maintains adequate insurance coverage to protect against potential losses and liabilities.Plan, manage, and oversee the annual global insurance renewal process for various coverages, including general liability, property, umbrella/excess, worker's compensation, auto, foreign package, cyber, directors & officers, and errors and omissions.Manage the actuarial valuation process.Oversee the claims management process, including filing, tracking, and resolving insurance claims.Work closely with internal teams and external parties to ensure prompt and fair resolution of claims.Work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and operations, to integrate insurance risk management practices.Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on insurance-related topics and best practices.Oversee and administer the certificate of insurance process.Prepare and present detailed reports on insurance-related matters to senior management.Monitor and analyze insurance costs and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in risk management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or equivalent are desirable.5+ years of relevant experience in corporate insurance, preferably at a global company.Broker relationship experience.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Effective verbal and written communication skills; organized and detail-oriented.What We ValueDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.Strong ethical standards and integrity.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Proactive and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.Resilient and adaptable to changing circumstances.Demonstrated ability to make good decisions, solve problems, and drive for results.
