As our new Director, you will provide direction and management of the medical services office (MSO) activities. You will also serve as the primary liaison between the hospital and Credential Processing Center (CPC) on process. Take the next step in your career.Responsibilities:Ensure the confidentiality of the medical staff committee records is maintained at all times.Oversee administrative schedules, medical staff meetings; assist medical staff officers in complying with provisions of the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations.Ensure Medical Staff Office and credentialing program complies with Medical Staff standards, The Joint Commission, and all regulatory and accrediting agency standards.Interpret, explain and follow all regulatory guidelines, including medical staff bylaws, fair hearing plan, rules, regulations, and policies.Oversee coordination, development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the new physician orientation program.What qualifications you will need:BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university.Current Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) with the National Association Medical Staff Services is preferred.Three to five years’ experience in a medical staff office.Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations.Previous credentialing and management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Working knowledge of The Joint Commission accreditation process and standards preferred.HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is located in Sarasota County, FL.
