This position will be responsible for the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and timeliness of the data.Your Key Job FunctionsWork closely with cross-functional business stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to collaborate, gather requirements, and oversee the building and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI solution.Analyze and profile source data to find underlying data/domain relationships and gaps.Lead teams to ensure completion with data extraction, transformation, and loading.Ensure and track model deployments across all environments.Provide walkthroughs & publish changes to all technology teams before every release rollout.Employ code repositories for version control and documentation, adhering to standard methodologies in data management.Advocate for standard processes in managing large datasets, applying star schema and other techniques to maintain data integrity and performance.Optimize data read/write, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of data.Listen carefully to business needs and communicate effectively with various levels of the organization including stakeholders, peers, and supervisor.Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Teradata-based solutions to support data warehousing, analytics, and reporting requirements.Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in the design and implementation of data-centric applications and solutions.Document technical specifications, provide workable solutions, architect integrations and ETL, develop design documents, create data mapping documents and technical diagrams, and implement impactful Business Intelligence solutions for the business.What You Bring to the TeamBachelor’s degree in a data-focused discipline, or the equivalent in skill and training.10+ years of experience in data warehousing with a solid understanding of relational databases and ETL concepts.Understanding of dimensional modeling, relational modeling, business process relationships, and best practices in enterprise data and data warehouse design.Experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica, and SSIS preferred.Strong coding skills in Standard SQL.Strong experience designing and architecting ETL processes with hands-on experience leading data extraction, data cleansing, data mapping, data transformation, data loading, and data validation using tools like SSIS, Informatica.Experience architecting and designing Data Warehouses, BI dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and reports.Experience working with cloud and on-premise data sources and targets.Strong understanding of SQL, ETL, designing data integrity and error handling techniques, and reviewing change history.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Teradata technologies, including Teradata Database, Teradata SQL, Teradata Utilities, Teradata Tools and Utilities, and Teradata QueryGrid a plus.Knowledge in using data quality and data governance tools such as Informatica Data Quality and Informatica Data Catalog.Familiarity with standard change control procedures and documentation best practices for data movement.Proficient in MS Office.Customer centric; listening, understanding, and responding to customer needs while being committed to the customer first philosophy.Proven team player with willingness to learn and help others.Proven ability to keep information confidential.Detail oriented and highly organized; perform duties with a high level of accuracy.Effective interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization.Excellent oral and written communication skills.
