HVAC Heat Exchanger Application Engineering Manager

Sanhua's Microchannel Heat Exchanger Unit is looking for a Sr. Application Engineering Managerto join our team. The Sr. Application Engineering Manager will use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and grow sales within the residential and commercial HVAC and data center cooling markets. They will provide assistance to customers in microchannel heat exchanger product selection and design, receive and process technical inquiries from customers, coordinate response with Sanhua & R-Squared sales, engineering, and facilities teams, globally.Responsibilities:Interfaces with customer engineering and procurement teams, translating customer requirements into product proposalsAssesses potential application of company products and services to offer solutions that meet customer needs and grow company salesPrimary contact for OEM customers for product technical mattersWorks with field sales counterparts; researches, prepares, and presents reports to customers showing the value proposition of utilizing company products and services.Provides technical training to clients and communicates customer feedback for future product development and sales growth planningRequirements:Bachelor degree in Engineering required10+ years of experience in HVAC&R systems or heat exchanger: design, development, or manufacturing in same or in a related thermal products fieldWorking knowledge of general engineering processes, procedures, and analytical methodsPractical experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals where a wide degree of creativity and self-motivation are necessaryProject management skillsPreferred Qualifications:MS or MBA degreeFamiliarity with a variety of the HVAC&R industry OEMs, concepts, practices, applications, standards, systems and components. Past employment with a HVAC OEM a plus.Experience with computer-based design and analysis of heat exchangers and thermal systems
