A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of plaintiff litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have exposure to personal injury and property damage litigation, with a strong background in written and electronic discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. The attorney will handle a diverse caseload from inception through trial or resolution, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional client service and an interest in business development.Duties:Manage personal injury and property damage litigation caseload from inception through trial or settlement.Conduct extensive case-related research into relevant laws and regulations.Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in state and federal court.Draft, interpret, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.Handle discovery matters, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and motions.Take and defend depositions, interact with clients, and attend court hearings and trials.Investigate facts related to cases to support litigation strategy.Develop and implement case strategies and prepare for trial.Participate in business development efforts to grow the firm’s client base.Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Requirements:2+ years of experience in plaintiff litigation, with a focus on personal injury and property damage cases.Proven experience with written and electronic discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.Strong commitment to client service and a proactive approach to business development.Ability to manage a full caseload and handle complex litigation matters.Excellent research, drafting, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in handling discovery matters and preparing legal documents.Education:J.D. degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:License to practice law in the State of Florida in accordance with the Florida Bar Association.Skills:Strong research and analytical skills for case-related investigations and legal research.Experience with trial preparation and participation, including drafting motions and responses.Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective client interaction and courtroom presentations.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and handle complex legal issues.Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software.Commitment to exceptional client service and a willingness to participate in business development activities.Benefits Offered:Comprehensive medical insurance paid 100% by the employer.Dental and vision insurance.Short-term disability and life insurance.Paid time off and paid holidays.Referral program.Positive, fun, and enthusiastic work culture in a state-of-the-art office environment.
