First Baptist Church of Fair Oaks is a diverse multi-generational congregation. Established in 1952, FBCFO has grown from a simple home church to its current membership of 500 with an average weekly attendance of 300. Staff, deacons, and volunteers oversee a myriad of ministries, including AWANA, Youth Camp, Senior Choir, Bible studies, and an annual Oct. 31 neighborhood outreach. The congregation is debt-free and supports the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program, William Jessup University, The Union Gospel Mission, and many other ministries.The Community
The community of Fair Oaks is part of the greater Sacramento area with a population of around 33,000. The five-mile radius around FBCFO, which includes the communities of Citrus Heights, Orangevale, Carmichael, and Antelope, has a population of approximately 340,000. Within a half-hour drive in any direction, there are rivers, lakes, parks, and nature areas, as well as communities ranging from urban city life with sports, theater, and music venues to pastoral countryside where many keep horses or livestock.Salary
