Our company handles the entire flow of providing these products and services beginning with Sales, Provisioning, Design and Engineering, Contracting and Construction, Servicing and Maintenance. We are a licensed C-10 contractor and operate construction crews in various areas of CA and soon the rest of the U.S. The Job Overview This role is in-office, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a senior level role. We are on the lookout for highly motivated individuals with a background in EVSE, OCPP, Software development, coupled with excellent communication skills. EVSE Software project managers serve as liaisons between the development team and the other stakeholders in a software project. They are responsible for communicating project status, managing changes and requesting additional resources to help complete the project, to create a detailed plan for a successful software project. This ensures that the project is completed on time, within budget, and with the desired level of quality, while effectively managing risks and resources Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple software development projects Develop and monitor project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution Strong experience in EV Charging or similar domain. The person will also act as a Product Manager for in-house software products Expertise in the .NET ecosystem and cross-platform development Expertise in cross-platform server and terminal development Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Knowledge of EV Charging protocols such as OCPP, OCPP-J, ISO15118 etc. Experience in developing applications for the transportation or energy industry using OCPP Serve as a technical liaison for customers Lead the modernization journey, including upgrading legacy software components Certifications in SAFe (SAFe Agilist, SAFe Program Consultant) or Agile (Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP). Lean is highly desirable Conduct status meetings, provide progress updates, and communicate effectively with stakeholders Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members Education and Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or Information Technology Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, to include Agile methodologies The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, focusing on hands-on software development and managing the delivery of complex software projects Extensive knowledge of distributed messaging systems, network protocols, and data engineering Minimum of 8 years in software development and project management, with at least 3 years in a senior role 5 years of hands-on experience in .Net (MVC and Core), Microservices, Middleware, API, JavaScript and web development Hands-on Azure experience is required 5 years of experience with Microsoft Project, or Atlassian Jira or Confluence or similar Terminal framework across Windows, Linux, and macOS Effective written and verbal communication skills Zero Impact Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
