Manager of Data Enablement
to join our dynamic
IT Department
located at our corporate office in
Lenexa, Kansas.
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our organization's data strategy forward, ensuring that data is leveraged effectively across all departments to drive business decisions and innovation. You will oversee the development and implementation of data solutions, processes, and governance frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making and optimize business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Data Strategy Development:Collaborate with leadership to define and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.Identify opportunities to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability across the organization.Data Enablement Leadership:Lead a team responsible for data governance, data architecture, data integration, data maintenance, data operations, and data analytics.Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and ensure alignment of data initiatives with organizational goals.Data Infrastructure and Tools:Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of data management tools and technologies.Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of data infrastructure to support business growth and operational efficiency.Data Quality and Compliance:Establish and enforce data quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).Implement processes for data cleansing, validation, and normalization to maintain high data integrity.Cross-functional Collaboration:Partner with IT, business intelligence, and analytics teams to integrate data solutions into business processes and applications.Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.Training and Development:Develop training programs to enhance data literacy across the organization.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices and recommend innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Management, Business Administration, or related fieldProven experience (5+ years) in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleStrong understanding of data governance principles, data architecture, and data integration techniquesProficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., MS Fabric, SQL, Python, R)Proficiency in data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and their underlying architectureStrong understanding of cloud-based database platforms (e.g., Amazon RDS, Microsoft Azure SQL Database)Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights, both written and verbally.Demonstrated experience in project management and driving large-scale data initiatives from inception to implementationStrong understanding of Development and Change management processes (e.g., Agile, SAFe, ITIL, SDLC)Ability to efficiently work with interdepartmental teams and other internal stakeholdersReflects the qualities of Hungry, Humble, and SmartPreferred Qualifications:Masters degree preferredProfessional certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) is highly desirableLocal to the Kansas City Metro Area
