Job Description
The Sr PO is responsible for defining and refining features or user stories and prioritizing the Agile Team backlog ensuring the backlog contains 2 iterations worth of 'ready' work for Dev team. These two functions are critical to enabling Dev teams to improve and maintain high velocity / productivity in iteration (sprint) execution.The Sr PO also has a significant role in quality control and is responsible to accept stories as done, ensuring the acceptance criteria has been met.The Sr PO works with Product Management, who is responsible for the Product (Program) Backlog, to prepare for the Program Increment (PI) Planning meeting (Big Room Planning).The Sr PO coordinates with other POs to align backlogs to complete large, cross-functional initiatives.The Sr PO mentors other Product Owners to ensure they are growing in their career and job acumen.Any familiarity/experience with (Samson), Northstar or Tax domain is a big plus.)
