This is a fully remote based role, however candidates must be located in the US, with a preferred location of eastern or central time zones.
Summary
The Solutions Architect is an expert Python, SQL, and AWS backend engineer who is responsible for helping BriteCore's Insurance Policy Administration customers solve their most complex challenges. This position is ideal for someone who has built strong relationships with customers, has large scale enterprise engineering experience, and has a passion for transitioning to modern technology. Design and implement highly scalable and reliable B2B enterprise integrationsCollaborate with customers and Product Management to craft enhancements, write epics/stories, and bring them to life through codeCraft reporting solutions in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance and reliabilityProviding top-tier support to our large-scale customers, ensuring their successDeepen your expertise in mutual P&C insurance best practices and workflowsGet hands-on with coding, tackling complex issues alongside our engineering teamEngage in regular meetings with executive engineering teams at our key customersOffer enterprise-level support to BriteCore Customers, aiding in customizations to our platformPartner with customer development leaders to optimize our Python monolith, supporting their innovations and growthStreamline and upgrading our legacy data delivery and reporting solution, leveraging SQL and Quicksite datasetsCollaborate with DevOps to implement effective DataDog monitoring for uptime and scalability, ensuring top-notch performanceWhat you'll bring
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field8+ years experience coding in Python in an enterprise SaaS environment5+ years of experience with B2B integrations at scale1+ years of hands-on experience with RIA technologies and patterns, including Vue, jQuery, React.js, and Knockout.jsWell versed and comfortable with a Linux operating environment, including application debugging, monitoring, and maintenanceProven expertise in MySQL or similar SQL databases, adept at optimizing databases and queries, fine-tuning application performance, and crafting cloud-native application designs for seamless deliveryMastery of AWS technologies, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3 for files and vendor integrations, CloudWatch for query writing, and proficiency in architecting workflows using Step FunctionsExperience leveraging DataDog for application optimization and issue identificationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsScrappy, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and learning as you goBonus points
