The Role

Quick Take -

We are building Conductor as a startup within Apex Analytix with a virtual team construct i.e., all team members will be embedded within their current organizational structures / reporting lines, while focusing full time on the Conductor product responsibilities. This is a secondment role of 9-12 months to drive the launch of the Conductor product onto the market.

The Product Lead - Conductor will work closely with the internal engineering team and our outsourced development team to drive the product management process for the Conductor Releases.

The Work -

The candidate must possess strong written, verbal, and analytical skills and have the empathy to understand and represent the core personas of the product. Understanding of the agile development process and product Lifecyle management is key. As is the ability to basic general to interact with co-workers, and users / customers. The Conductor Launch team is a virtual team, and the role needs to embrace a startup mentality i.e. We all pitch in to do whatever needs to be done.

Key role activities will include:Create functional requirement / user storiesReview and enhance product personasPerform user interviews and conduct market and product researchIdentify data needs and assessments to auto-sense risk and opportunities and prescribe responsive risk mitigation tasks and action plans.Participate in the development process (remember product is being developed in India)Develop and coordinate release readiness activitiesWork on ad-hoc Conductor projects at the direction of the Conductor leadership teamOther various tasks as needed within the department or companyThe Must-Haves -

Minimum of 3 years experience in product management or consulting roles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience working with development organizations is highly desirable.Product Management, Consulting or Development ExperienceRisk, Account Payable or B2B Product functional experienceComputer technical skills, particularly with Excel and PowerpointDesign skills, FigmaThe ability to work independently and manage priorities."Get-it-done" attitude and behavior.The ability to learn and perform multiple functions for launch of Conductor.The ability to work with others within the company to solve product-related issues.Willingness to work to deadlines and perform tasks outside standard work hours if needed to meet those deadlines.Team Player - Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
