Offset Strategic Services (OSS) is seeking a cloud architect for DoD applications who will focus on the continuous delivery of cloud-based infrastructure, data, and application architectural solutions from strategy through implementation. The ideal candidate will have the necessary technology, communication, and leadership skills to manage hands-on highly visible and complex projects from start to finish. This role requires proficiency with developing realistic project plans to meet delivery objectives and the ability to maintain and establish required service levels. You will be a part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, which thrives on delivering transformational solutions and maximizing value to their stakeholders. As a leader of the cloud transformation process, you must be passionate about data, be a change agent and mentor, and a strong collaborator with the various business and technology leaders. This opportunity will challenge your technical skills and creativity with an element of fun! This position will collaborate closely with other technology and business teams to establish data solutions for analysis, modeling, designing, and go to market initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for engineering, building, testing, and deployment of Department of Defense owned or FEDRAMP certified cloud services offerings for new and existing cloud architecturesDevelops architecture products including technical architecture, business architecture, strategic planning, and business process design. Participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and developmentApplies high-level business and technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions. Adept at migrating systems to a cloud architecture from disparate platforms and utilizing a wide range of tools to implement/re-implement systems in a cloud architectureProvides cloud architectural expertise to management and technical staffDevelops cloud architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business linesDevelops cloud system strategy and infrastructure design to support thestrategy.Advises on selection of cloud technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and application requirementsRequired Qualifications, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:

Active Secret clearance required5 years' experience with NIST 800.53 and the Risk Management Framework2 years' experience with DoD and/or FEDRAMP cloud architecturesBachelor's degree in computer science and 10 years relevant work experienceGood understanding of fault-tolerant architectures and high availability.Good communications and listening skills are critical components of this job. Must be able to interact with development and infrastructure teams, business and vendors
