CookUnity believes in fueling stronger communities, partnering with Food Bank For New York City to combat food insecurity across all five boroughs.What are we looking for:We’re looking for an energetic person who is inspired by our mission to own and deliver the projects associated with bringing new SKUs onto the menu. This person would have experience working with a recipe database, creating recipes for manufacturing and/or higher volume commissary kitchens. They would have a strong culinary product development background and be thrilled to work with hundreds of food creators, helping them sell their creations to thousands of customers. This person will take concepts and ideas and turn them into completed work with successful outcomes and metrics.Responsibilities:Participate in meal type definition and tagging from a culinary perspective so that creators have something specific to aim for in creating new itemsEnd-to-end ownership over the success rate of new meal onboarding and launch in the NY market, in partnership with those creatorsImproving and maintaining the recipe database for the NY marketWorks cross-functionally with key stakeholders to develop new product linesBuilds self-serve processes and/or is a SME for software development for the creator side of the marketplaceQualifications:5+ years of menu development experience in reputable organizations1-5 years of production experience in a large restaurant or manufacturing where recipes were used for productionA strong passion and knowledge base for food and food creatorsAbility to work cross-functionally with several stakeholdersAn analytical mindset and high EQAbility to work in our NYC facility 5 days a weekBenefits
