You will function as part of high-performing project team that is responsible for ensuring that organizations throughout the federal government are able to leverage their data to improve both their day-to-day operations and decision-making power. Our data engineers are responsible for shaping the future of analytics for your clients by identifying new data sources, modeling techniques, and ways of leveraging that data.

Responsibilities
Develop a robust and scalable database solution hosted in a AWS FedRAMP cloud environment.Design and implement data pipelines that align with user requirements, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.Create user-friendly interfaces for the upload of new data records and facilitate the search and download of data by users.Provide expert advice on cloud technologies and collaborate with system owners to recommend appropriate solutions architecture.Manage AWS services within the AWS Console, including monitoring, scaling, and securing resources.Qualifications
Proven experience in writing and implementing detailed specifications for complex data processing workflows and system integrations.Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying data pipelines in the AWS cloud environment using cloud-native microservices such as AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, or Amazon Redshift.Strong skills in performing unit and system testing to ensure that solutions meet requirements and function correctly.Proficiency in analyzing and resolving system failures, performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and software bugs.Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python), SQL, and database management principles.Comprehensive knowledge of AWS security best practices and data protection mechanisms.A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on database design/management and cloud operations.CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with R and R Shiny for integrating analytical products developed by data analysts into the platform.AWS Developer or AWS Solutions Architect certification.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.DOD Secret
