a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Mid- Level IT Infrastructure Engineer with a Secret Clearance to support PAC and our Government customer in Arlington, VA.

The purpose of the task order is to provide one mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to provide expert support for ongoing operations of Networking and Security Services and other related areas and project work for all OIG systems supported by EX\IT.

Duties and Responsibilities

Mid-level Infrastructure Services Engineer (One position - 1920 hours):Coordinates efforts onsite with and reports results to the CORConfigures for the Windows Platform; servers and local storage; file and share access; print and document services; servers for remote management; and IPv4 and IPv6 addressingManages and maintains virtualized server environment on Microsoft Hyper-V and VMwareDeploys and configures DHCP and DNS servicesInstalls domain controllersCreates and manages Active Directory users and computers, OUs, GPOsConfigures application restriction policies and Windows FirewallDeploys and manages server imagesImplements patch managementConfigures Distributed File System (DFS), File Server Resource Manager (FSRM), file and disk encryption, advanced audit policiesPlans network infrastructures services, highly available network services, server virtualization infrastructure, identity and access solutionsConfigures System Center components, portals, dashboards, storage fabric and network fabricConfigures and manages the deployment and updating serversMonitors network devices, servers, virtualization, application healthImplements automation and service offeringsManages compliance, configuration, and updatesImplements backup and recoveryConfigures cloud integration including public and private clouds.Develops/maintains systems configurations and executes administration and operational duties on computer systems while maintaining data/information as requiredAnalyzes, evaluates and tests software and hardware to provide issue/problem resolution.Installs, configures and maintains commercial off-the-shelf products. Regularly prepares activity and progress reports regarding support activitiesActs as a systems resource for all usersAssists with the installation, planning and security of computer facilities and organizes training as required and appropriateSpecial Knowledge Requirements:

Mid-level Infrastructure Services Engineer:

Demonstrates subject matter expertise (5-7 years) in the areas of Windows Platform solutions with product specific knowledge of Microsoft Windows.Microsoft MCSE and MCSA certifications preferredKnowledge of SQL Server and MySQL databases, knowledge of relevant web services, backup, and application monitoringExperience with ITIL, CMMI, and/or PMP processes and implementationSecret Clearance required.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
