We are seeking a Security Analyst I to join a Consultancy's Security Operations Center (SOC) team in Fort Lauderdale.As a Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security posture of our clients by leveraging tools such as Microsoft Sentinel & Defender, Entra/Entra ID, and SIEM solutions.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities:Onboarding Clients: Facilitate the smooth transition of clients into our SOC environment, ensuring all necessary security measures are in place.Incident Response: Act as the first responder to SOC alerts, promptly investigating and mitigating potential security incidents.Client-Facing Communication: Interact directly with clients to address security concerns, provide updates on incidents, and offer recommendations for enhancing security posture.Agile Shifts: Demonstrate flexibility in working agile shifts as required by the demands of the SOC environment.Must-Have Requirements:Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel & Defender for threat detection and response.Experience with Entra/Entra ID for identity and access management.Familiarity with SIEM solutions for log analysis and event correlation.Nice to Haves:Located in Fort Lauderdale or willing to relocate.Experience with SOC Prime, enhancing threat detection capabilities.Military background is a plus, bringing valuable skills and perspectives to the team.Salary/Day Rate:$55,000 - $69,000 annually - Dependent on experience.If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about cybersecurity, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity and make a difference in the security landscape.
