Position SummaryThe Operations Specialist will perform general labor duties as assigned. Duties included but not limited to building conversions for various events, set up and breakdown of chairs, tables, staging, housekeeping, etc.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $16 to $18.00 depending on maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Read and interpret paperwork regarding room set-ups

Set-up and tear down a variety of equipment, including, but not limited to chairs, tables, staging, risers, trash cans, dance floors, coat racks, table skirting, carpet, pipe & drape

Sweep, mop, scrub & wax floors, wash walls, windows, stainless steel, counter tops and woodwork

Clean and maintain restrooms to the highest quality of service while replenishing supplies

Remove stains, clean and extract carpet

Responsible to properly clean and maintain a specific area of the facility

Dusts, polish, arrange and move furniture and equipment

Remove rubbish and waste

Perform facility maintenance tasks as assigned

Report defective equipment, facility damage, areas of the facility requiring cleaning and incorrect or improper set-ups to supervisors in a timely manner

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred

Must be constantly aware of changing events, such as staff or supply shortages

Able to work from general instructions and specifications, with minimal supervision

Able to work effectively in a service oriented environment subject to frequently changing priorities

Able to respond calmly to public concerns; must be accountable and responsible

Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.

Able to stand for extended periods of time

Able to lift, bend, kneel, twist and stretch

Able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
