Salary Range: $120k-130k/annumRate Range: $65-70/hr on C2C or $55-60/hr on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Developer with expertise in Android app development, utilizing a diverse skill set that includes Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Java.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications, ensuring seamless user experiences across a variety of Android devices.Responsibilities:
Mobile App Development: Design and develop innovative and user-friendly Android applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Programming Languages: Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Java.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.UI/UX Design: Implement and maintain a polished and responsive user interface.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional code.Code Review and Testing: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.Implement unit tests to identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.Version Control: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development.Documentation: Document code, designs, and technical specifications to facilitate team collaboration.Adaptability: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.Adapt quickly to new technologies and programming languages as needed.Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and stability.Identify and resolve software-related issues and bugs.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in Android app development using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Java.Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and design patterns.Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Requirements:
5+ years of combined software/application development experienceExperience with all phases of the development life cycleExperience developing mobile applications using Android, Kotlin.Created 1 or more applications available in Play Store.Familiarity with Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planningFamiliarity with how to optimize code for phones, testing with phones, challenges with phonesFamiliarity with Git, Maven, and JenkinsAdvanced communication skills with the ability to clarify application requirements via phone/email with business partners in addition to relying on technical requirements documentation.Mobile Android Skill Set:
