The Sales and Purchasing Manager, along with our Accounting Manager and Company President, will handle all aspects of procurement, sales, and inventory. This role requires an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the aviation industry.
Job Duties
Identify and cultivate sales opportunities for aircraft partsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including airlines, maintenance facilities, aircraft operators, etc.Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues in a timely mannerCoordinate and execute shipping logistics, including packaging, labeling, and arranging transportation for timely delivery of ordersEnsure accuracy and compliance with all shipping regulations and documentation requirementsCollaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory management and meet customer demandsStay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and decision-makingSource vendors and place orders for parts and materials, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveryCoordinate with suppliers and buyers to confirm order details, shipping schedules, and any special requirementsPosition Requirements
Minimum 3+ years' experience in aircraft parts sales or purchasingFamiliarity with inventory management systems (such as ILS) and ERP systems (such as Pentagon) preferredStrong computer skills - including logging in and managing accounts on multiple sites (Ex: eBay, ILS), photographing and posting items online for sales, generating shipping documents, searching online for information on parts and pricing, using email software, creating quotes and invoices, etc.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and efficientlyWillingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry eventsSelf-motivated with a passion for delivering exceptional customer serviceAuthorized to work in the United StatesHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical Demands
