Position Overview: They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation law, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of their claims.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Represent clients in workers' compensation claims, including preparing and filing claims, negotiating settlements, and appearing in hearings.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and options under workers' compensation laws.
  • Review medical records, gather evidence, and work with experts to build strong cases.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines and court dates are met.
  • Stay current with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and administrative bodies.

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in Washington.
  • 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation law preferred; candidates with less experience but a strong interest in workers' compensation will also be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and advocating for clients' best interests.
