Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for lead generation, client onboarding, proposal building, and relationship management for an assigned geography. This role will act as the client advocate and will work with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied by each department to improve the overall client experience. The Account Manager will secure and grow revenue within the portfolio as the primary role focus.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 base + commission

Location: Field based in Houston, TX

Auto Allowance: As part of our auto allowance reimbursement program, you will be eligible to receive a fixed bi-weekly contribution, in addition to monthly variable mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

Grow revenue in assigned market by both securing new clients via cold calling, cross selling with other Valet Living entities, pursuing referrals, and analyzing available market data, as well as growing share-of-wallet revenue within existing accounts

Actively meet with and communicate with clients, ensure their needs are understood, and explain our service value to improve the client experience

Build and deepen the client relationship based on trust and respect

Collaborate with our internal departments to ensure they are fulfilling all client requests

Manage and resolve any client issues or complaints

Find solutions and improved processes across departments to ensure a positive client relationship

Prepare proposals, bids for projects, and coordinate the successful handoff of new work to the field service team

Drive the adoption of Annual Price Agreements

Promote and educate property staff on new service offerings from Valet Living

Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive results and ensure maximum quality of service

Apply effective problem-solving skills to resolve client complaints or needs

Represent our organization at industry-related trade shows and exhibits

Act in accordance with organizational and quality standards

Organize work and determine resources and requirements

Ensure agreement on job scope and service protocols in new community launches

Update community managers on overall company plans, process improvements, or new service capabilities.

Drive to properties within the assigned district up to 50% of the workday

Build client rapport through monthly office visits

Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required, AA degree or higher preferred

2-3 years strong experience and history of success in a transactional sales environment preferred

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers

Exceptional analytical skills

Strong time management and multi-tasking skills

Advanced negotiation and motivational skills

Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others

Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce

Exceptional work ethic, integrity, and accountability

Ability to perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiences

Ability to adapt to technology platforms

Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:

Ability to walk distance of our client properties, including up/downstairs, bend at waist and/or knees and lift arms at/over shoulder

Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to hot and cold temperatures

Sedentary work that involves sitting/standing while and working on a computer

Valid driver license and good driving record

Flexibility to be available during irregular hours depending on business needs

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
