Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Sr. Manager - Strategic Projects & Continuous Improvement. This position is pivotal in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our wafer level packaging business unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of continuous improvement tools, and will have the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.

What will you be doing?

Project Management:
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, including milestones, resources, and deliverables with accurate and reliable forecasting related to resourcing, constraints, and other aspects of the project.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates and reports to senior management.
  • Demonstrate ownership of project management process from end-to-end and manage day-to-day progress providing strong redirection when needed.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, promoting lean methodologies and best practices.
  • Partner with site leadership on continuously improving the Management Operating System (MOS) and identifying/facilitating improvements within the organization.
  • Support the strategic vision of the MOS by developing tools and trainings that identify opportunities and grow our CI capabilities, continuous improvement principles, RCCA problem solving, and other cultural/behavioral characteristics needed to excel in a continuous improvement culture. Facilitate CI projects based on these principles.
  • Facilitate and lead Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste.
  • Analyze current processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on project priorities.
Who are You?
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are advantageous.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years minimum) in demonstrated project management, with a track record of successfully leading complex projects from inception to completion and building a best-in-class project management culture.
  • Strong, demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and practical experience in implementing process improvements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software applications

What competencies will you need?
  • Technologies and methodologies include Lean Management, Visual Controls, Leader Standard Work, RCCA, Value Steam Mapping, Kanban Pull Systems, Quick Changeover, Design for Lean, Flow, Inventory Reduction, Site Tier meetings, etc. Ideal candidate will have exposure to many of these tools, and/or an aptitude to learn and adapt these tools to our business unit.
  • Good presentation skills to effectively share the success and ideas of the business.
  • Skilled at reporting out succinct and clear project updates to leadership team
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork.
  • Train and coach on project management methodologies and continuous improvement techniques to team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.
