Responsible for directing, communicating, motivating, organizing, and managing execution of company goals, depletions, PODs, revenue, and profit plan across the Riboli Family Wines portfolio across our core national and regional chains in the on-premise channel of trade. Responsible for communicating/updating SVP – Sales, N. America the status and needs of his or her team and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Current duties may be changed if job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary. Responsible for managing the Riboli Family Wines portfolio of products through a designated set of chains to include our international footprint with National & Regional Chains across the country. Responsible for executing POD’s, display activity and revenue goals assigned to the division. Oversee the execution and compliance for national and regional chains assigned across the country. Directly responsible for targeted division revenue and profitability goals. Develops, directs, and motivates national team and regional chain KAM’s to achieve performance targets. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all sales efforts within their specified division. Accountable for managing all budgets, including the allocation of trade spending and total sales expenses across this division. Responsible for developing and coaching their respective teams to reach their goals and grow within the Riboli Family Wines organization. Take active role in assessing national and regional chain performance, addressing poor performance issues. Actively participating in presentations across all the divisions on-premise footprint. Possess ample knowledge of products, wine industry, competitive brands and markets. Cultivate cross department relationships within the company to include the National division, California distribution team leadership, marketing, finance, supply chain, human resources, and IT. Exercise appropriate behavior with Riboli owned brands and agency suppliers, always representing these brands in the best and most professional manner. Exercise the highest level of fiduciary duty to the company in all financial matters including budgets, promotional spending and every aspect of the Company’s business. Job execution will break into following components:
60 % of time spent in the field with our trade customers, our distributors and Riboli national and regional team members. 20 % of time spent planning, organizing, directing, and controlling execution. 20% administrative, preplanning, and follow-up.

A four-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience enabling the incumbent to perform job responsibilities as required. (Equivalent work experience could include supplier, distributor sales or wine industry management jobs). Minimum of 10+ years in the beverage alcohol industry with multiple years of sales management experience. Good written communication skills: must possess the ability to develop and provide all necessary written reports, correspondence, and presentations necessary to satisfy job requirements. Good oral communication and interpersonal skills; must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Incumbent must articulate in a professional and personable manner to be a strong leader and partner to Riboli Customers and Trade. Ability to have fluent knowledge of PC, working within Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and any other company software is critical to the success of this position. Mathematical skills: must have the ability to calculate and interpret financial data which effects everyday Riboli Family Wine portfolio business For certain markets multi-language skills are required or would be a plus, i.e. Italian or Spanish (if required this will be identified during the recruitment process). Interpretive skills: Incumbent must possess the ability to define problems, establish facts and collect data to interpret issues, draw valid conclusions from the data and recommend solutions to the business problem. Overnight travel is required; must be able to meet minimum requirement travel schedule for assigned territories Prepare as needed and participate in training meetings with distributors.
