Responsibilities:Prepares and reviews procurements and contract documents in compliance with the applicable Education Code, Public Contract Codes, board rules and internal policies and procedures.Prepares and develops bid packages, scopes of work and solicitation documents, and negotiates fees.Evaluates bids and proposals and makes awards based on the evaluations.Issues purchase orders, task orders, and work orders.Utilizes systems and software such as SAP and Excel.Meets and discusses procurements with requestors to update specifications, scopes of work and requirements.Monitors contract compliance and negotiates amendments and/or change orders.Performs other duties as required.Required Experience:Minimum of five (5) years full time paid professional experience in procurement, experience in related goods, general and professional service contracts, including one (1) year experience in negotiation, development and administration of solicitation documents including RFQs, RFPs, and IFBs.Required Education:Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably related to business or public administration, law or a related field.
