JOB SUMMARY: BODYBAR Franchising, A fast-growing franchise fitness concept based out of Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a charismatic and experienced Director of Marketing to develop strategic marketing plans for BODYBAR Franchising and its Franchisees! The Director of Marketing will play a key role in shaping the BODYBAR brand, driving growth, and ensuring cohesive and innovative marketing efforts across the organization. This role requires strategic leadership, tactical implementation, and effective cross-functional collaboration to continuously optimize marketing strategies for maximum impact. The Director of Marketing will oversee a growing marketing team and report directly to the COO, contributing to the company’s brand growth and visibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive, system-wide strategic marketing plan that aligns with company goals and brand vision.
Collaborate with senior leadership to create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Forecast, draft, and oversee the department's operating budget, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth plans.
Allocate brand funds strategically to support initiatives that drive business objectives and brand visibility.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with other departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to develop and align marketing strategies that drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Stay ahead of industry trends, conducting market research to inform and innovate marketing strategies.
Establish, retain, and manage strategic partnerships and vendor, stakeholder, and external party relationships to support the company’s growth and visibility while maximizing the impact of the marketing budget.
Execution & Implementation:
Oversee the tactical implementation of marketing initiatives across various channels, including social media, content creation, public relations, and retail.
Analyze and monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reporting to senior leadership and adjusting strategies as needed.
Ensure the successful execution of campaigns, including the launch of new retail lines and promotional activities.
Manage the company’s online presence, including website updates and social media channels.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, overseeing daily operations, workflow, and project timelines while creating a culture of innovation and excellence.
Onboard, train, and develop team members, providing performance evaluations and managing discipline according to company policy.
Ensure all marketing collateral meets brand standards and is approved before distribution.
Additional Responsibilities:
Represent BODYBAR at industry events, conferences, and in community engagements to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
Present marketing strategies, progress reports, and outcomes to the senior leadership team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
At least 5 years of progressive strategic marketing experience in a franchise environment is required; experience in the fitness or wellness industry is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in editing and creating content for various social media platforms using Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with various marketing and project management systems, including, but not limited to, Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, Asana, and Canva.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver compelling presentations.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing marketing budgets.
Exceptional time management and project management abilities.
In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, tactics, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation.
Superior organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Collaborative team player with a commitment to achieving shared goals.
